What we do

Tate Research Centre: Learning promotes research and knowledge exchange and aims to inform practice in the field of learning in galleries. The centre is co-created, conversational, speculative and propositional. It sees value in openness and risk and has creative practices at its centre.

The programme includes research projects with external partners, conferences and symposia, research-led practice sharing sessions and professional development events. The centre seeks to operate openly and collaboratively to support high quality and innovative research in diverse fields relevant to learning in galleries and to provide a platform for dialogue and debate.
